Crapola ....
(11:15am) - I've been unemployed for a month, the Gators are 4-2 (lost by just a nose - painfully! - to Auburn and LSU), the Dolphins are 0-6 (barreling straight at an 0-16 season), and Kevin Harvick is in 8th (tire troubles in *every* race of the Chase so far).
And, of course, my parents are moving tomorrow to Miami for six months. That's the worst of the lot.
*SIGH*
What am I going to do? I've failed at every job I've ever had. Not completely, because I've done a lot of good, and done it well a lot of the time. But in the end, when you tally up all the pluses and minuses, The Great Karmic Wheel for Scott Knowles sits deeply in the negative. I'm useless and have very little to show for it except an overabundance of possessions. Including a $900/mo. mortgage on a condo in Atlanta...
The only good thing is that I'm here in Charlotte, only 20 miles away from my sister and her frenetic, fast-paced life. I wouldn't change that for the world!
Monday, 17 September ... that was my last post. Been too depressed (and yes, I'm faithfully taking my medication!) to write anything before now.
